We eloped!

A few months back in August, before my trip to Argentina, I came to Wichita Falls, TX for a short visit.  On a Saturday around noon, we went to the Wichita County Courthouse, got a marriage license and got hitched by a female judge, squatty and with a limp, in front of a mural painted with doves and roses, in the back room of a 70s style courthouse down the hall from juvy.  It was epic and took less than 10 minutes.

We know at some point we will have a small ceremony, and I will wear a white dress, flowers will fall from the sky and we will dance; but for now, he is in the Air Force which is unreliable on calendar, and we are newly married, ready and waiting for our 3 year honeymoon in Okinawa.

We just became facebook official, and I suddenly felt the need to address our random marital status change for all the world to see.

The best part of all it...Our life has begun, together, and it's better than I ever could have imagined.  He is all mine, and we couldn't be happier.
