Backyard

On a boring fall day, I was wandering near the river behind my house. The trails were weaving me in and out of the tall trees that were shedding their leaves baring themselves for the long winter ahead...I had my camera...snapping photos here and there...

I ended up in a graveyard of leaves that were bigger than my face. I sat down and looked up at the trees reaching for sky...I drifted back and took a few photos from my view, then turned the camera around and shot a few of myself. Incidentally, these look pretty rad. vampire?

I found this little one frozen to a limb on the same day, trying not to be seen. Oddly enough it was out and about during the day, although opossums are nocturnal. This little guy was curious...and cute!
